All manuscripts uploaded to JEMUR are submitted through OJS, but authors should complete the manuscript according to the academic and technical standards below before opening the submission form.
At least one listed author must be an active undergraduate or graduate student at the time of submission.
The manuscript must be prepared in English and must meet a publication-ready academic standard.
In co-authored work, contribution and authorship should be represented clearly and all authors must approve the final version.
The submission should not remain at classroom-draft level; it should be revised into a coherent academic manuscript for publication.
Preparation and Formatting Rules
The main text must use Times New Roman, 12-point font.
Main section headings should use 14-point type.
All paragraphs must use single line spacing; 1.5 spacing should not be used.
The abstract must be written in English and remain within the 250-400 word range.
Each manuscript must include at least 5 keywords.
References, in-text citations, headings, tables, and figures must follow APA 7 consistently.
Submissions with a similarity rate above 20% are not considered.
The title, abstract, keywords, and all metadata entered into OJS must be complete and accurate.
Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere unless formally disclosed and approved.
AI tools cannot be listed as authors and may not replace human scholarly judgment, argument construction, or editorial responsibility.
If limited technical AI assistance was used, authors must disclose the tool, the purpose, and how the output was verified.
Plagiarism, fabricated data, misleading representation, and unethical source use are strictly unacceptable.
Permissions and ethical approvals for images, interviews, field data, or third-party content remain the authors' responsibility.
For accepted manuscripts, authors must sign the JEMUR Copyright Transfer Form and grant the journal the publication, distribution, archiving, and indexing rights required for scholarly dissemination.
The editorial office may request clarification or documentation at any stage when authorship, ethics, originality, or rights ownership require verification.
Publication Workflow
Authors submit the manuscript, metadata, supplementary files, and signed copyright transfer form through OJS.
The editorial team performs scope, language, formatting, similarity, ethics, authorship, and document checks.
Eligible manuscripts are sent for peer review, and revisions may be requested.
The editor issues a decision based on reviewer reports, revisions, and journal policy.
Accepted manuscripts are prepared for publication, checked for metadata accuracy, archived in OJS, and published open access under CC BY 4.0.
Before Uploading to OJS
Prepare the manuscript file, abstract, keywords, and any supplementary material in their final author-approved form.
Make sure author names, affiliations, and all metadata are ready for clean entry into the submission system.
Prepare the signed copyright transfer form for upload as a supplementary submission file.
Use OJS for submission, revision upload, and editorial correspondence only after these requirements are fully met.
