Author Guidelines

JEMUR welcomes original undergraduate research, revised thesis chapters, capstone-based articles, interdisciplinary studies, and strong literature reviews prepared for publication.

Before submission, ensure that your manuscript is clearly structured, carefully cited, and appropriate for an academic audience. Student authors should acknowledge mentor support where relevant and include any necessary ethics or permissions statements.

All submissions must be uploaded through ojs.jemur.org.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission fits the aims and scope of JEMUR.
  • The manuscript follows the journal's Author Guidelines.
  • The submission has not been published elsewhere and is not under review by another journal.
  • Sources are cited appropriately and permissions or ethics approvals have been addressed where necessary.
  • The author metadata entered in OJS is complete and accurate.
